Engage, Involve and Empower Community Members

Community Engagement is the process of working collaboratively with and through groups of people in a community, that focuses on addressing the interests, needs and issues affecting their well-being. Community Engagement increases understanding of issues and empowers communities to work with people at all levels to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

This workshop will explore some of the challenges to community engagement, and what steps can be taken to engage, involve, and empower community members to play an action role in the community.

This one-day workshop offers and mix of community engagement principles, self-awareness, tools, strategies and more, to help individuals, groups and organizations better engage with their community.

This workshop is offered within organizations for groups of 5 people or more.
