Professional Development Webinars

Learn while making an impact

Learning is about more than professional growth here at PMC Training. It’s about creating positive change in our workplaces, our communities, and the world around us. That’s why our professional development webinars don’t just teach valuable skills, they help support local charities in carrying out their mission.

When you register for one of our monthly webinars, you’re helping strengthen the local community because with every free registration, we increase our donation a local charity.

You don’t have to donate a dollar. Simply show up, learn something new, and know that your participation contributes to an important cause.

How Our Webinars Work

Each month, we select a Canadian charity or community organization that’s doing meaningful work in the Ottawa region. It might be a group supporting Indigenous programs, youth mentorship, mental health programs, food security, or employment readiness. Every organization we choose shares our belief in empowering people through learning and connection.

For every participant who joins one of our professional development webinars, PMC Training increases its charitable donation to the chosen charity of the month. The more people who attend, the greater the impact we make together.

Many of the charities we support rely on volunteers and operate with limited resources. Our donations include both financial support and in-kind contributions, in the form of free training for the charity’s staff and volunteers. This helps them strengthen their skills, work more efficiently, and make an even greater difference in the communities they serve.

What to Expect

Each webinar connects to the monthly professional development theme featured in our learning resources. The first article of the month introduces the topic with a quick overview and practical takeaways. Midway through the month, we take a deeper dive into the subject, exploring a key workplace challenge. And finally, the live webinar brings everything together, turning ideas into action through shared learning and discussion.

We select themes that will help Canadian professionals advance their careers, such as project management, change management, leadership, communication, productivity, and more.

The Charities We Support

We’re proud to highlight the incredible organizations that make our communities stronger. When choosing which charities to support, we look for organizations that:

Past charities have included local food banks, Indigenous organizations, youth programs, and community organizations focused on education, housing, and employment right here in Ottawa. Every one of them shares a commitment to making our world a better place.

If there’s a charity you’d like us to consider for future webinars, we’d love to hear from you. This initiative is meant to stay community-driven, focusing on causes that matter to the people who join us each month.

Learn with Impact

When you attend one of PMC Training’s professional development webinars, you’ll leave with new insights and practical tools you can use in your day-to-day work. You might even sleep a little better knowing that you helped a local charity continue its important mission.

So, why not sign up today? You’ve got so much to gain and nothing to lose!
