Registration and cancellation policy
This Registration and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms related to registration, payment, cancellations, attendance, and completion for PMC Training Open Enrollment workshops.
Use of the PMC Training website is governed by our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected and handled. This policy does not apply to private training, coaching, consulting, or other services governed by separate agreements.
By registering for an Open Enrollment workshop, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
Changes, Substitutions, and Cancellations
We understand that unexpected things can happen. We appreciate that this is an important investment for you and will do our best to find the balance between accommodating your needs and fulfilling our commitments to facilitators, logistics providers, and other participants.
If you can no longer attend your registered workshop date, please inform us as soon as possible via email at opentraining@pmctraining.com or by calling us at 613-234-2020 (option 1).
Here’s how our policy works:
If there are 10 or more business days before the start date of the workshop:
You can request changes, substitutions or cancellations, without penalty. If you need to cancel, any amount paid will be reimbursed.
If there are less than 10 business days before the start date of the workshop:
Your registration becomes non-cancellable, and you are responsible for the workshop fee and corresponding invoice. Payment remains due in accordance with the invoice terms.
If you are unable to attend, the following options are available to you:
- Substitution
You can request someone else to attend in your place, provided the request is received before the workshop start time. The substitute participant must meet any stated workshop prerequisites. - Transfer
You can request a one-time transfer to a future Open Enrollment workshop scheduled within one year of the original workshop date.
An administration fee of $75 (plus applicable taxes) will apply. Workshop fees remain payable in accordance with the original invoice terms and are non-refundable.
This transfer can be applied to any workshop of equal or lesser value and used by anyone at your organization.
No Shows
If you do not cancel and do not attend (a “no-show”), you are responsible for the workshop fee. If the invoice is unpaid, payment is due in accordance with the invoice terms.
Changes or Cancellations by PMC
PMC reserves the right to:
- Substitute facilitators of similar ability and expertise
- Cancel or reschedule an Open Enrollment workshop due to low registration or unforeseen circumstances. It is our policy to notify registered participants of any cancellations as early as possible. Our liability is limited to the workshop fee. Please make travel arrangements with this in mind.
Invoicing and Payment Terms
- All registrations for Open Enrollment workshops are confirmed upon completion of registration and issuance of an invoice.
- Registration constitutes a financial commitment to the workshop fee, regardless of payment timing.
- For organizations based in Canada, payment is due within 30 days following the workshop delivery date, in accordance with the invoice terms.
- Individuals in Canada and registrations outside of Canada must pay the full workshop fee at the time of registration.
- PMC Training reserves the right to require payment in advance for any registration, including for new clients or accounts that are not in good standing.
- Failure to remit payment does not release the responsible individual or organization from responsibility for the workshop fee.
Attendance and Certificates of Completion
Certificates of Completion are issued based on attendance. To be eligible for a Certificate of Completion, participants must attend at least 90% of the scheduled workshop time. Late arrivals, early departures, or extended absences may affect eligibility.
Attendance is monitored through attendance records and facilitator observation. PMC Training reserves the right to withhold a Certificate of Completion where attendance requirements are not met.
Accessibility and Accommodation
PMC Training is committed to providing accessible learning experiences. Participants who require accommodation are encouraged to contact us as early as possible so that we can assess and, where feasible, make appropriate arrangements.
Accommodation requests should be submitted in writing to opentraining@pmctraining.com at least 10 business days prior to the workshop start date. Requests received with less notice will be considered, but accommodation may be limited by feasibility and available resources.
Workshop Materials and Recording
Materials are intended for use by registered participant(s) only and may not be copied, shared, distributed, recorded, or posted without PMC’s written permission. Recording of Open Enrollment workshops is not permitted.
