What is PMC doing in response to COVID-19?
At the time of this writing on March 27, 2020, PHAC has assessed the public health risk to Canadians as “high” for the general population.
In Ottawa, Mayor Jim Watson has declared a state of emergency for the city due to the spread of COVID-19 in Ottawa. This aligns with Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s announcement on Monday, March 23 that he is expanding Ontario’s state of emergency to shut down all non-essential services.
Many workplaces have asked employees to work from home until further notice. All of PMC’s staff are working remotely; however, we are still committed to supporting our clients’ learning needs in this time of great change.
We had already cancelled all public and in-house classroom deliveries in the second half of March.
However, we are able to deliver many workshop topics via video conference. Each employee can be at their home computer and participate remotely. We have been delivering workshops this way for some time now and it has been quite successful.
Please check here for more details on our online learning options.
Will my upcoming public workshop be running because of COVID-19?
As you know, the situation is changing rapidly. We are closely monitoring developments and will inform you two weeks in advance as to the status of your workshop.
